Police in Lawrence, Massachusetts, have arrested 180 people in the past two months as part of an effort to curb opioid abuse in the city.
According to the Eagle Tribune, "Operation Blue Crush" has resulted in a plethora of drug-relates arrests.
According to police, most of the people arrested traveled from New Hampshire and Maine to purchase drugs in the city.
On Wednesday alone, authorities arrested 36 people, and of those arrests, 28 were for heroin.
Police plan on keeping the operation running in the coming months.
