Medallions, newspaper clippings, and pictures of political figures from 113 years ago are now on display at the Old Massachusetts Statehouse.
These items were recovered from a time capsule discovered in the head of the Old State Capitol's lion statue last month.
Officials say the artifacts were placed in the capsule in 1901, back when the Washington Post sold for one cent. The items are in good condition, with some of the newspapers looking fairly new.
The collection will be on display at the Old Statehouse through next month.
