One Resident Injured in Two-Alarm Fire in Mass.

Investigators said the cause of the blaze appears to be accidental

A two-alarm fire at a home in Abington, Massachusetts, injured one resident on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters responded to 36 Harrison Avenue at 12:19 p.m. where heavy fire was coming from the single family residence. The fire quickly reached two-alarms.

Authorities said one resident was transported to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The home suffered heavy damage but is repairable, authorities said.

Investigators said the cause of the blaze started outside but appears to be accidental.
