Police in Cranston, Rhode Island, have arrested two men following a disturbance at a nightclub in which another man was stabbed.
Officers responded to the Red Lounge at 355 Dyer Ave. Sunday morning around 1 a.m. for a disturbance involving around 50 people.
A vehicle with three people inside was stopped as it was driving away from the scene.
Inside was the stabbing victim, Kitland Juste, 30, who was stabbed in the torso.
He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun and ammunition inside the vehicle.
The driver, Ruben Cadet, 29, was arrested for a firearm license violation and carrying a weapon while intoxicated.
The front passenger, Eric Delrosario, 30, was identified as the suspect who allegedly brandished the gun during the incident. He was arrested for being a convict in possession of a firearm, a firearm license violation and carrying a weapon while intoxicated.
Police said this is the second major incident at the club in the past few weeks. They plan to present evidence to the City Council Safety Services Committee to recommend maximum sanctions be imposed on the club.
