2 Arrested for Selling Drugs in Presence of Child

The investigation was conducted by police in Nashua, New Hampshire

Two people were arrested in New Hampshire last week for not only selling drugs, but for doing so in the presence of their child.

Lindsay Karos, 23, and Richard Marchant, 25, who had been temporarily been residing at the Hawthorne Suites on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, were taken into custody on June 5.

The pair was arrested as the result of an investigation that was conducted by Nashua Police.

Both face several charges, including endangering the welfare of a child. Their child has been placed with a relative at this time.

Karos was previously arrested in Nashua on June 19, 2014, and again on October 8, 2014, for selling Oxycodone Hydrochloride. She was released on bail prior to her June 5 arrest.

Karos and Marchant are accused of selling heroin and Fentanyl.

Karos is being held on $100,000 cash/surety bail. Marchant is being held on $50,000 cash/surety bail.
