Police: 2 Arrested in Drug Raid; Fentanyl, Guns Seized

After months of investigation, two people have been arrested at the end of a drug raid in Massachusetts, according to police.

Brockton police say 34-year-old Shannon Widener and 31-year-old Christopher Santiago were arrested in Widener's Pine Street apartment on Thursday.

Thirteen bags of Fentanyl, crack cocaine and Xanax were allegedly found in Widener's apartment, while police say they found three loaded firearms and ammunition in Santiago's Pine Street apartment; one of the guns was reportedly stolen.

Investigators also seized other material used for packaging drugs, including two scales.

Widener faces multiple charges in connection to drug trafficking and possession, while Santiago was charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. He also had three warrants, according to Brockton police.

It's unclear if they have attorneys.
