A father and son from Massachusetts were badly injured when the pickup truck they were in overturned on Interstate 95 in Kittery, Maine, on Thursday morning.

The crash occurred on the northbound Exit 3 ramp of the Maine Turnpike, Maine State Police said. The driver, Luiz Coelho, 55, of Hudson, Massachusetts, and his son, Arthur Coelho, 22, of Marlborough, Massachusetts, were both thrown from the truck. They were taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire, where they are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck was towing a trailer carrying a pickup truck and a passenger car. The truck was totaled in the crash.
