Police Identify Couple Found Dead in Manchester, Maine, Car

The couple found dead in a car early Friday morning in Manchester, Maine, have been identified.

A man and a woman were found around 3:30 a.m. Police say they responded after one of the victims called 911.

Maine State Police say that the two victims are Eric Williams, 35, and Bonnie Royer, 26.

The car was found on Sanford Road, a dirt road near Augusta. The immediate area is remote, with no houses, police said.

The road was expected to be closed until sometime Friday afternoon. Investigators were working to gather evidence.

Royer and Williams lived together on Easy Street, less than a mille away from where they were found, Maine State Police say.

Detectives are still investigating the scene. Autopsies are expected to take place on Saturday.
