2 Charged After Police Cancel Amber Alert
    Vermont State Police

An Amber Alert has been cancelled for a 4-year-old girl from Vermont after she was found safe in New York.

State Police found Kaleyia Hardy just after 2 a.m. Saturday inside a car on Interstate 90 in Dewitt, New York. The girl is now in protective custody of New York authorities.

Police say Hardy was with her biological grandmother, Dawn Hutchinson, and Hutchinson's boyfriend identified as Joel Rosenthal. Both were arrested by New York State Police without incident.

There's no word when they'll return to Vermont to face charges.
