2 Charged in 22-Year-Old's Murder

Two men have been charged in a man's murder in Boston earlier this month, authorities announced Tuesday.

Twenty-four-year-old Lamar Brison and 19-year-old Elijah Small, both from Dorchester, will be arraigned Wednesday in Roxbury Municipal Court on homicide charges for the July 2 shooting that killed 22-year-old Raheem Ramirez, Suffolk County District Attorney's Office announced.

Brison and Small were previously held on $100,000 cash bail after being arrested after the shooting for allegedly having illegal guns. Brison faces additional charges of misleading an investigator and motor vehicle offenses.

The July 2 shooting happened late in the evening on Greenville Street, where witnesses gave Boston police descriptions of the shooters riding a scooter. Brison and Small were arrested shortly afterward.

Ramirez was rushed to Boston Medical Center, where he died of his injuries; a 24-year-old man who was also shot is expected to survive.

The investigation is ongoing, the D.A.'s Office adds.

There's no word if Brison and Small have attorneys.
