Two Providence, Rhode Island, men charged with drunken driving in separate fatal crashes on Interstate 95 in March are set to be arraigned.
Twenty-three-year-old Jeremy Leiva and 21-year-old Hector Diaz are scheduled to appear Wednesday in Providence Superior Court.
Prosecutors say Leiva drove the wrong way on I-95 in Pawtucket and struck an oncoming vehicle. A passenger in Leiva's car, Flory Hernandez, was killed and two people in the other vehicle were injured.
Authorities say Diaz's car hit a utility pole and rolled over on I-95 in Providence. A passenger in the car, Anthony Nunez, died and two other passengers were injured.
A message seeking comment was left at a phone listing for Leiva on Wednesday. A phone listing for Diaz couldn't be found. Online court records don't list lawyers for them.
