2 Dead Cats Among Those Removed From Home in Upton, Massachusetts

Two dead cats were found in a home in Upton, Massachusetts, where many others were removed.

City officials were called to the home on School Street Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities continued to remove cats Thursday, finding two deceased animals.

The house has now been declared a public health risk.

The two women who live in the home are staying with family for the time being. Neighbors tell necn the residents have been hoarding cats for years, and that the MSPCA has been to the house before for similar complaints

So far, more than 20 cats have been removed from the house.
