    Father, Son Killed in Car Crash

    Police are investigating a car crash that killed a father and son in Leeds, Maine.

    Police say the crash occurred on Route 202 in Leeds at about 8 a.m. Tuesday. State police are assisting the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Department in reconstructing the crash.

    The names of those killed have not been released by police, but WCSH has confirmed that the young man killed in the crash was a freshman at St. Dominic Academy in Auburn and was on the junior varsity hockey team.

    State and local police would only confirm that the crash occurred on Route 202 and declined to describe the circumstances or say how many vehicles were involved. Leeds is located about 20 miles west of Augusta.
