Police have identified the two men who were injured and hospitalized after an explosion and fire at a South Kingstown, Rhode Island, home.

The Providence Journal reports that police found 27-year-old Brett Carrano, of West Warwick, and 25-year-old Dillon Kantlehner, of South Kingstown, lying across the street on a neighbor's lawn on Friday morning.

They were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with severe burns. Hospital officials say Carrano is currently in critical condition and Kantlehner is in serious condition.
