Massachusetts State Police say two people are dead and a third is injured after a fiery crash late Thursday night in Swansea.
Troopers responded to the scene on Route 195 westbound, near Exit 2, around 11:10 p.m.
There they found a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was fully-engulfed in flames.
One occupant, a young man, was able to escape the car. Two others, a young man and young woman, were dead inside the vehicle.
The surviving occupant was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.
The victims' names have not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
