Two New York men accused of shooting of two people, one fatally, at an apartment house in Bangor, Maine, are due in court Tuesday.
Police received reports of multiple shots fired on Center Street at around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
One man, identified as Robert Kennedy, died from gunshot wounds and another person was taken to the hospital. It's not clear what his current condition is. Authorities didn't identify the other victim.
Police arrested 27-year-old Robert Hansley and 37-year-old Thomas Ferguson, both of Brooklyn. They will be charged with murder and elevated aggravated assault.
It is unclear if the two men arrested knew the victims.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
