2 People Hospitalized With Minor Injuries After House Fire in Vermont

Officials said the fire was a three-alarm blaze

Two people hurt in a Wednesday morning house fire in Burlington, Vermont, are in hospital with minor injuries, NECN affiliate WPTZ reports referring to fire officials.

Fire crews responded to the fire at 92 Hyde St. around 4:30 a.m.

Officials said on Twitter that the fire was a three-alarm blaze.

"The entire building was engulfed in flames," Christa Gowen, a neighbor said. "Pretty scary."

In total, six residents were displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
