Man Killed After Being Thrown from Car in Rollover

Joseph Nelson was killed and Rhonda Thibeault was injured after they were thrown from the car that went off the road on I-93 in New Hampshire.

A man has died after being thrown from a car during a rollover late Sunday night on I-93 in Canterbury, New Hampshire.

Police confirm the driver, 24-year-old Joseph Nelson of Franklin, was killed in the crash, which also injured 24-year-old passenger Rhonda Thibeault of Ashland.

Nelson was charged with felony driving under the influence of drugs regarding the incident.

Two other occupants, both children, were in the car. They were not injured. Only Nelson and Thibeault were thrown from the vehicle.

Police found the car partially concealed in the tree line. They say that the Hyundai sedan left the roadway for unknown reasons and rolled over in an embankment several times.
