2 Held on $100K Bail Following Fatal Double Shooting

Two men arrested in connection to a fatal double shooting in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood late Thursday were arraigned Friday and ordered held $100,000 bail, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley says.

Lamar Brison and Elijah Small, of Dorchester, were both arraigned on charges of unlawfully carrying a firearm, Conley says. Bryson was additionally charged with misleading an investigator and motor vehicle offenses.

Police say the shooting happened around 11 p.m. at Greenville Avenue and Dudley Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Raheem Ramirez, 22, and a second victim, 24, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say both victims were taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment. Ramirez succumbed to his inuries. The second victim is expected to survive.

After identifying the suspects, officers were able to track them down a shortwhile later following a brief chase, Conley says.

The investigation into the shooting remains active and ongoing.
