Nikiya Bryson, at left, and Courtney Rogers, are facing prostitution charges after they were arrested in Vermont.

Two New Hampshire women were arrested for prostitution at a Vermont hotel over the weekend.

Nikiya Bryson, 21, and Courtney Rogers, 23, both of Manchester, New Hampshire, were arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday at a hotel in Hartford, Vermont, and charged with engaging in prohibited acts. Bryson was also found to have an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of the same nature several months ago, which also occurred in Hartford.

According to published reports, Bryson was arrested back in June along with four other women and charged with prohibited acts following a sting operating targeting prostitution in Hartford. Undercover officers arranged to meet at local motels with prostitutes who had advertised on a website.

Bryson is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 17, while Rogers is scheduled to appear on Jan. 6, 2015.
