A 2-year-old was injured when he was struck by a vehicle driven by his father in Lewiston, Maine, on Monday afternoon.
WCSH-TV reports that the accident occurred in the area of Rideout Avenue. The toddler was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. A fire official said the child's father did not known that his son was outside and accidentally backed into him.
The extent of the boy's injuries was not immediately known.
