Police say a 21-year-old Vermont man who hit a deer while driving an ATV last month has died from his injuries.
Dylan Stone of Fairfield died Friday while in a coma at University of Vermont Medical Center as he was being treated for injuries sustained in the June 22 crash.
Vermont State Police say they responded to the crash last month on Pumpking Village Road in Fairfield, where evidence they gathered at the scene pointed to speeding and alcohol as contributing factors in the crash.
Stone was initially taken to Northwestern Medical Center but was eventually taken to UVMC due to the extent of his head injuries.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Vermont State Police.
