(NECN) – A woman survives a plunge into the icy waters of Jamaica Pond in Boston.
The woman was walking with her dog this afternoon - when her dog ran onto the ice.
The woman gave chase, but fell into the water.
She was able to escape the icy waters on her own. It’s not clear how long she was in the water.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to take her to the hospital.
