Entertainment: Oprah Named Harvard Commencement Speaker

(NECN) - We want to give you an update on the health of Queen Elizabeth. The Queen has just left the hospital, following her one-day stay caused by a stomach ailment.

In entertainment news: Ben Affleck tells the paparazzi to "ar-go away." Affleck says he didn't kick anyone, he was just trying to get the paps to back off a little. According to TMZ, he was holding his 4-year-old daughter Seraphina who was startled and started crying.

When two verbal requests didn't work, Affleck swung his leg out, telling the paps "you need to be this far away".

Oprah is coming to Boston. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has been announced as the principal speaker for the afternoon exercises of Harvard's 362nd Commencement.

In addition to her nationally syndicated television show that has run for over two decades, Winfrey has been an advocate for many causes, including education. The ceremony will take place on May 30.

Some ‘Modern Family’ co-stars got a little closer over the weekend. Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson got stuck in an elevator Friday. They were on the way to a charity event in Kansas City at the time.

The comedic cast took to Twitter, posting photos and funny reactions. It took crews about an hour to get the elevator working again.

And is the king of late night losing his crown? According to the Hollywood Reporter, "two high-level industry sources" have said NBC will announce in May that Jimmy Fallon will replace Jay Leno in 2014.

The network denies the rumor. Sources are blaming the rumors on stiffer competition for a younger audience, especially since ABC moved Jimmy Kimmel to the 11:35 time slot in January.

NBC Universal is a parent company of NECN.
