Entertainment: The Biebs Bad Few Weeks Continue

(NECN) – We’re checking in on the top entertainment headlines…

It's been a bad few weeks for the Biebs. He's now facing accusations of battery following an alleged dispute with a neighbor. The altercation happened Tuesday morning outside of Justin Bieber's LA home. TMZ reports a neighbor confronted the 19-year-old about his erratic driving in his Ferrari up and down the street. The Biebs apparently didn't like that and allegedly threatened him.

“Battery means unwanted touching, it could be patting on the back, it could be throwing water on somebody, it could be spitting, it could be any of those things, we don't know. We'll find out exactly what it is. Also allegations of threats. And, once again, we'll find out what that's all about.”

Bieber has not been charged or arrested. No one was injured.

It looks like Justin Timberlake can buy all the suits and ties he wants. His new album, "The 20/20 Experience" has debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The album sold an impressive 968,000 copies in its first week. Timberlake is no stranger to success though; his last album, released back in 2006, also reached the top spot.

Some people probably don't feel so forgiving, but Punxsutawney Phil is off the hook! An Ohio prosecutor who filed a light-hearted indictment against the famous groundhog, claiming he falsely predicted an early spring, has dropped the charges. The animal's handler is taking the blame, saying Phil told him there would be six more weeks of winter but he misinterpreted what the groundhog said in his native language.
