NH AG Searching for Couples to Return Wedding Photos

(NECN: Jennifer Eagan) - Roxana Rossi admires her beautiful wedding pictures, well deserved given when she has been through to get them.

She and her husband married in August 2007. Two years later she was still reaching out to Forever In Time Photography in Salem, N.H. She was hoping to get her precious memories, which she had paid $2,350 for. Instead, she got excuses.

"I told him I emailed him and he said something has gone wrong with my Internet," Rossi said.

So, Rossi wrote to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

"I knew something was going on, I just had a bad feeling about them," she said.

As it turns out she was right. Hundreds of brides and grooms were jilted by Forever In Time Photography. Officials say 260 complaints poured in to the Attorney General’s Office. Michael and Darlene Perrotta pleaded guilty to unfair or deceptive business practice in 2011.

They handed over photos of hundreds of couples, but now the Attorney General’s Office needs the public’s help. They have photos for 11 couples which haven’t been claimed.

"Either we have the bride and groom’s name and no contact info, or we don’t have the bride and groom’s name because they never filed a complaint with our office," said Senior Assistant Attorney General Connie Stratton.

Roxana received her pictures more than five years after her wedding day. She hopes the last mystery couples out there get their memories, too.

"I’m very disappointed it wasn’t just me. They ruined their moment," she said.

If you recognize any of the couples in the photographs you are asked to contact the Consumer Protection Bureau for the NH Attorney General’s Office.
