ESSEX, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police say a trooper has been shot and wounded after suspects in a possible robbery were chased and crashed their car in Essex.
Police say the unidentified trooper's injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Two suspects involved in the attempted robbery were arrested after the crash on Route 153.
No other information was immediately available.
