Boston Wheelchair Winner to Race in London in Memory of Bombing Victims

(NECN) - The winner of the Boston marathon wheelchair division said that she will race in the London marathon in memory of those who died in Boston.

Tatyana McFadden won three gold medals in the London Paralympics.

The 23-year-old said she's going to race because you can't live your life in fear.

"For this Sunday I will definitely be racing for Boston and for those people. People have been asking me, 'Are you not going to race?' And I said 'No we can't live our life in fears, and there is always going to be a few bad people in this world and the majority are good."
