(NBC/NECN: Jay Gray, Sanford, Fla.) - Witnesses in the trial of George Zimmerman continued to testify on Friday, providing testimony that bolstered Zimmerman's claims of self defense.
John Good, a witness for the prosecution, called the conflict between Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin "a tussle." And during cross-examination, he claimed he saw Martin as the attacker.
"The person who you now know to be Trayvon Martin was on top, correct?" Defense attorney Mark O'Mara asked.
"Correct," Good responded.
"And he was the one who was raining blows down on the person on the bottom, George Zimmerman, right?" O'Mara asked.
"That's what it looked like," Good said.
Jonathan Manalo, the first neighbor on the scene after Martin was shot, supported Good's testimony. He said that just after the shooting, Zimmerman claimed that Martin attacked him and that he fired his weapon in self-defense.

Prosecutors have presented other witnesses who contradict that scenario, raising more questions about what exactly happened and how.
"It's surprised me this week how often the defense has turned prosecution witnesses to their advantage," NBC legal analyst Lisa Bloom said.
The trial is on recess through the weekend, with the jury remaining sequestered until testimony resumes on Monday morning.
