(NECN) - A Quincy, Mass. mother has been found not guilty by reason of insanity in the murder of her son.
In a jury waived-trial, a judge Tuesday found "Li Rong Zhang" lacked criminal responsibility at the time, exhibiting psychotic depression and paranoid delusions.
Her 8-year-old son was found dead, locked in the master bedroom of their home in 2011.
In the room was a wok filled with charcoal briquettes burning, emitting poisonous carbon monoxide.
