(NECN) - A natural gas well on an oil rig in Louisiana is in flames.
The fire started a few hours after more than 40 workers were safely evacuated from the rig.
No injuries have been reported and it's not clear what caused the gas to ignite.
A firefighting vessel is heading to the scene.
Officials say the damage from this blowout wouldn't be close to the damage from the 2010 BP oil spill.
