2nd Suspect in Deadly Hampton, NH Crash Held on 10K Bail

(NECN: Jackie Bruno) – A second arrest has been made in connection with that deadly crash in New Hampshire that left two Massachusetts bicyclists dead.

The suspect was in court Thursday and is accused of selling drugs to the 19-year-old driver who struck and killed them.

This arraignment happened Thursday. Cindy Sheppard is being held on $10,000 bail for allegedly selling drugs to Darriean Hess before she got into that deadly accident.

According to court documents, Darriean Hess slept over Sheppard's house the night before the accident.

During the time, Sheppard allegedly sold fentanyl to Hess and then allowed her to drive away even though she knew didn't have a license. What police don't know is if Hess was under the influence of a drug when she crashed her car into a group of bicyclists hours later, killing two women, Pamela wells and Elise Bouchard. Gordon Wiley, a friend of one of the victims, was in court Wednesday for Hess's arraignment.

He talked about what Elise Bouchard was like before her life was taken just a few days ago.

Sheppard will be back in court later Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Brentwood superior courthouse. She's facing a violation for breaking the conditions of her bail.
