Northeastern Students Robbed at Knifepoint; Phones Stolen

(NECN: Leslie Gaydos) - Two students were held up at knife-point at Northeastern University in Boston around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night.

This occurred near “West Village G” on the university campus.

Officials say two black juveniles approached the two Northeastern students and asked them for the time. When the suspect took out their cell phones to give them that information, the suspects pulled out knives and robbed the students of their cell phones.

The suspects then fled towards the Ruggles MBTA station.

The school is urging students to be aware of this tactic.
