Red Sox Fever Continues in Boston, Amid Team in St. Louis, Mo.

(NECN: Brendan Monahan, Boston) – Red Sox fans are hoping their team can take the lead with Game 3 of the World Series Saturday night.

Red Sox fever is continuing to spread in Boston, regardless of the fact the team is playing in St. Louis later on Saturday.

Many people came to Boston’s Fenway Park on Saturday afternoon to get tours of the park and to be part of the excitement.

“We had dinner last night; there was Boston shirts and people just excited being around, so it’s definitely electric. And I’m hopefully getting up to see the monster up close this morning with a couple of tickets. That would be great; we’d get to feel some of that energy ourselves,” said Phil Hodes, a Red Sox fan visiting from Philadelphia.

Game 3 could be a pivotal match up in the series.
