Suffolk in the City: JFK's Impact, 50 Years Later

(NECN) – It has been 50 years since President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and people still have strong feelings.

Student Reporter Jacob Athyal asked people how they look back on JFK.

One person said, “I think he was a great leader, the way that he could serve, to set the way for someone like myself to serve.”

People spoke of his passion and the impact the Kennedy family had on Massachusetts.

One person said that the coverage of the 50th anniversary of his assassination is good to inform younger generations about what happened, but doesn't agree with the commercialization of it.

Another person said that anything getting younger people to learn is good, regardless of who is making money off of it.
