Vt. State Police Looking for Missing Ripton Man

(NECN) - Vermont State Police is asking for the public's in locating a missing man.

Authorities say 54-year-old James Daignault was last seen Saturday, Nov. 23 at around 10 a.m. leaving his home in Ripton, Vt. to go to the local food shelf in Burlington and then never returned.

Reports indicate that Daignault was last seen at the Middlesex Park and Ride where he had met friends to go to the food shelf, and they later dropped him back at his vehicle at the park and ride at around 2:30 p.m.

He's described as a 6'1", 270 lbs white man with blue eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing camouflage suspenders, hunter orange "zombie" t-shirt and grey sneakers. Daignault was reportedly driving a 2001 maroon Plymouth Neon with Vermont registration FMM551.
