(NECN) - One person passed away after a shooting in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on Saturday night.
Boston Police say the victim, whose name has not been released, was shot at the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Evelyn Street around 8:00 PM.
Police confirmed the victim was taken to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call them at 617-343-4470.
