TSA Banning All Carry-on Liquids on Flights From US to Russia

(NECN) - The TSA is temporarily banning all carry-on liquids on flights from the U.S. to Russia.

Authorities say most liquids, gels, aerosols, and powders will not be allowed onboard.

Travelers can put them in checked bags.

The new restrictions come just one day after an advisory warning about toothpaste tubes being used to carry explosives.

The new rules will be in place for at least the duration of the Sochi Olympics.
