Opening Statements Expected in High-profile Mass. Human Trafficking Trial

(NECN) - Opening statements are expected Friday morning in a high-profile human trafficking trial in Massachusetts.

Rafael Henriquez and his wife Ramona Carpio Hernandez, Milton Lopez-Martinez, and Diego Suarez all face a string of charges.

The attorney general claims the group brought women into Massachusetts, held them against their will and forced them into the sex trade.

The four are the first to be arrested under Massachusetts's 2012 human trafficking law.
