(NECN) - Do you want to compete in the Boston Marathon, but are unlikely to get an invite or can't even hack the 26.2 miles right now?
There's an app for that, and it comes from the Boston Athletic Association.
T.K. Skenderian from the BAA joined us for more on the app.
He said that because everyone couldn’t sign up for the marathon, people can check out the app, which allows people to run any distance anywhere they want.
People can sign up, pledge a distance and log their miles from now until April 21.
People from over 47 countries have signed up for the app.
You can find the app in the App Store and look for “Boston Marathon World Run” or go to http://bostonmarathonworldrun.org/
