(NECN) - A man died Saturday evening after he fell in the water parasailing off the coast of Plum Island, Massachusetts.
According to Newburyport Police, the man was "power paragliding" with several others. Witnesses say he seemed to have had a mechanical issue and landed in the water with his equipment still on his back.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was declared dead at the hospital around 6:30 p.m.
