Ludlow, Mass. Man Due in Court After 35 Animals Seized From His Farm

(NECN) - A Ludlow, Mass. man is due in court Wednesday after the Animal Rescue League of Boston seized 35 animals from his farm.

The animals rescued include donkeys, ponies, pigs, goats and alpacas.

Many of them were underweight including a severely emaciated pony.

The animals' owner, Dean Manual is now facing 36 counts of animal cruelty.

The animals are recovering at the MSPCA farm in Nevins and the Animal Rescue League's facility in Dedham.
