(NECN) - Three people, including a Boston man, have been charged with sexual trafficking of a minor.
Mark Pinnock of the city's Mattapan neighborhood faces charges along with Justin Richardson and Martin Pinkey of Baltimore.
The men allegedly conspired with others to transport a 15-year-old between Maryland and Massachusetts for prostitution. The charges include sex trafficking of a minor by force, fraud and coercion and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
If convicted, the defendants will face minimum sentences of 15 years on sex trafficking charges and 10 on the transportation charges. They will face maximum sentences of life.
Pinnock made his initial U.S. District Court appearance Friday in Boston.
