(NECN) - Connecticut police are investigating the death of a two-year-old child in Putnam.
State police say they were notified of the sudden death of a child shortly after noon Wednesday.
EMS responded to a home at Mechanic Street.
Police say the child was taken to Day Kimball Hospital, where the toddler was pronounced dead.
A cause of death has not yet been determined.
