7 Displaced After 5-alarm Oxford, Mass. Fire

(NECN: Justin Michaels) - Seven people have been displaced after a five-alarm fire in Oxford, Mass.

The fire broke out at 12:30 Monday morning.

Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and flames. Red Cross is assisting those who have been displaced.

Two firefighters have been injured. They were transported to a local hospital and are expected to fully-recover.

Despite cold temperatures, none of the hydrants were frozen.

The building, built in 1756, has had many renovations. Officials believe the fire started in the right rear of the building.

The fire chief said the building will have to be torn down.
