Man Arrested in Yale Shooting Hoax

(NECN) - A man has been charged in a November shooting hoax at Yale University.

Police say 50-year-old Jeffrey Jones called 911 and falsely reported a pending shooting in November.

Law enforcement officials responded and the school was locked down for hours while the campus was searched.

New Haven Police have charged Jones with falsely reporting an incident and second degree counts of threatening and reckless endangerment.
