Fla. Man With Ties to Aaron Hernandez to Face Court in Mass.

A man from Florida who is facing charges in connection with the Aaron Hernandez murder investigation will appear in a Massachusetts courtroom for the first time Tuesday.

Twenty-three-year-old Oscar Hernandez Jr., no relation to Aaron, has been indicted as part of a gun trafficking investigation.

According to the 14-page indictment, Oscar Hernandez impeded the grand jury investigation by making "misleading and false declarations" while testifying under oath. The indictment says he lied and claimed that he never bought a car that was allegedly used in the interstate gun trafficking operation. He also reportedly attempted to persuade the person who he purchased the car from to withhold testimony from the grand jury.

Aaron Hernandez and two other men are charged in the death of Lloyd, a semi-pro football player found dead not far from Aaron Hernandez's North Attleboro home.
