Man Held on $50K After Gun Pulled, Fired in Dispute

Suspect fired the shots following a parking dispute

A Revere, Massachusetts, man was held on $50,000 bail after police say he fired gunshots during a dispute early Friday morning.

Police say Jeffrey Moreno fired his gun multiple times into the air following an argument over a parking issue on Fenno Street in Revere.

Police responded to the scene shortly after 1 Friday morning. Two guests of a holiday party were sitting in their vehicle when they were approached by Moreno, who was in his vehicle. Moreno ordered them to move from the spot near his house.

He allegedly yelled at the two, retreived a gun from his vehicle and fired three shots in the air.

Police say he yelled at the two once more before backing into his driveway and going in his home.

A SWAT team later extracted Moreno from his home after failed attempts to contact him.

Moreno was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, four counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of making threats to commit a crime, among other charges.

He was ordered to stay araw from the victims and witnesses and surrender all fireamrs and ammunition in the event he is released on bail.

He will return to court Dec. 22.
