2nd Suspect in Armed Home Invasion Due in Court

Police say William Mackin turned himself in to police in Revere following the incident on Presidents Lane earlier this month

A second man arrested in connection with an armed home invasion in which a pregnant woman was tied up and her teen daughter was barricaded inside an upstairs room in Quincy, Massachusetts, is expected in court Friday.

Police say William Mackin turned himself in to police in Revere following the incident on Presidents Lane earlier this month.

Police had asked members of the public to not approach Mackin in the event they see him; instead, they're asked to immediately call 911.

Another man, 22-year-old Kevin Murphy, also of Revere, is being held on $100,000 bail after being arraigned on charges in connection with the home invasion. Police say they caught Murphy as he fled the home.

The residents of the home were not injured.

Murphy and Mackin are accused of stealing between $40,000-50,000 in cash; prosecutors say the homeowner had money like that because he owns a restaurant.
