3 Arrested on Heroin Charges

Police in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, have arrested three people on heroin charges.

On Monday around 1 p.m., police responded to 413 West Yarmouth Road to serve substance abuse warrants for the apprehension of two people. Police located the suspects and arrested them. More people were located in the residence and police noticed evidence of illegal narcotics distribution and obtained a search warrant.

Authorities seized 110 grams of packaged heroin, 4.7 grams of an unidentified powder substance, numerous clear plastic baggies, a digital scale, four cell phones, two metal boxes filled with ammunition, and $3,355.

In total, three people were arrested including 18-year-old Samantha Lewis, 23-year-old Francisco Cunha, and 22-year-old Joshua McInnis. All three were charged with trafficking 100- 200 grams of heroin, conspiracy to violate a drug law, and unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition.
